Biography
Markéta holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from the Czech Republic and has already gained diverse professional experience in various fields, including neurological, orthopedic, and functional disorders. After her studies, she worked at the Penta Hospitals clinic in Prague and gained further experience at a comprehensive care facility in Prague.
After her time in the Czech Republic, Markéta spent 15 months in New Zealand, where she worked as a home support worker, among other jobs. She then moved to Australia, where she worked for five months as a physiotherapist and caregiver for a patient with a brain tumor and hemiparesis in a private home. Upon returning to Europe, she worked again in physiotherapy and was employed at a comprehensive care facility in Prague.
She has been registered as a physiotherapist in Austria since December 2023 and has been working at Heimphysio/Mediphysio since February 2024.
Markéta continuously pursues her professional development and has successfully completed training in Fascial Manipulation®, with the aim of integrating this knowledge into her therapeutic approaches. Her interest in the human body and the opportunity to help others overcome their health problems motivate her in her daily work.
In her free time, Markéta loves outdoor activities such as hiking and mountain biking, and uses these to clear her head.
