Steps to submit costs
The following is an overview of the steps for submitting costs to the health insurance company
Cost submission to the health insurance company
Step 1 : Approval from your general practitioner
Obtain an authorization from your general practitioner or a prescription for physical therapy from your primary care physician or specialist.
Step 2 : Start therapy
Please bring your findings to your first appointment so that we can work together to create a treatment plan.
Step 3 : Obtain approval
Within the first few weeks of issuance, you must obtain authorization for the prescription from your health insurance company. (Suspended at ÖGK until 2025)
Step 4 : Submit to health insurance
Submit the fee invoice along with the approved prescription to your health insurance company. Reimbursement varies by health insurance plan.
Or use our interface and we will conveniently submit the fee note to your insurance company for you (only possible with SVS and ÖGK).
Step 5 : Possible private addition
It may also be possible to cover the costs through a private supplementary or accident insurance policy and submit the fee invoice there.
